UCSI Organic Culture

UCSI Organic Culture is set to offer an exciting and unique sustainable life experience for all.

UCSI Group aspires to connect those who love organic culture by creating awareness and inducing passion for the organic culture, and this is done by promoting collaboration and cultivating a healthy supply chain. Part of the UCSI Organic Culture is a specialty restaurant and retail shop that offers organic cuisine and products as part of the UCSI Group’s initiative to establish improved nutrition and a healthy lifestyle among youths.

The crops produced from the UCSI Organic Culture Farm is another sustainable edible garden farming project in Cheras that uses a ‘Pot-to-Pot’ concept whereby consumers may take freshly grown crops from the garden farm into the kitchen for immediate consumption. UCSI Organic Culture emphasises a sustainable lifestyle to reduce the harmful use of chemical fertilisers and pesticides while decreasing the impact on environmental soil and human health. These homegrown farms offer opportunities for research and development (R&D) into urban farming projects which would enable access to healthier food options for consumers living in high-density neighborhoods.

UCSI Organic Culture is aligned to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all, especially youths and future generations. The SDG 3 - Good Health and Well-Being, SDG 4 - Quality Education, SDG 11 - Sustainable Cities and Communities, and SDG 12 - Responsible Consumption and Production are closely related to the UCSI Group’s Organic Culture initiatives.
