Sri Sedaya Primary and Secondary School is a private
co-educational school which provides quality education
with genuine care. With the support and approval of
the Ministry of Education, the school offers classes
from Standard 1 to form 5 and follow the National School
Curriculum. Regular school hours are from 8.00am to
3.30pm, Monday to Thursday, 8.00am to 12.50pm and 8.00am
to 1.00pm for Primary and Secondary respectively on
Friday.
Special emphasis is given to the mastery of the English
Language. Mandarin classes are also offered during the
regular school hours. It is the aim of the school to
mould the students to be tri-lingual in BM, English
and Mandarin. In line with the government's decision
to use English as the medium of instruction for science
and mathematics, the school has been teaching Science
and Mathematics in English.
The school is housed in two blocks of high quality and
is fully air-conditioned. The primary school and the
secondary school occupy one separate wing of building
each. The school also boasts of a state-of-the-art multipurpose
hall, with an area of 12,000 sq. ft. complete with 6
badminton courts. It is also well equipped with air-conditioned
classrooms, cafeteria, laboratories, library, music
room, computer laboratory, basketball court and other
facilities. It is also just 300 meters away from the
3K sports complex where additional facilities like a
swimming pool, tennis courts and squash courts are available
for the students.
