A result-orientated hands on professional with over
20 years experience (1980-2000) in Organization Development,
Productivity Improvements and Behaviour Change, Stephen
holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration and
is currently pursuing his Doctorate with Southern Cross
University, Australia. He was also part of the
start up team in Malaysia and Indonesia (9 years as
an expatriate) in the manufacturing sector for Mattel
where he acquired strong leadership skills from
diverse backgrounds in manufacturing such as productivity
improvements and people developments with a track record
for developing and maintaining corporate relations with
customers.
In addition, he spent the last 5 years (2001-2005) dedicated
to productivity improvements and organization behaviour
changes, servicing more then 30 clients in the
Asia region as an Independent Consultant for IMPAC.
His task assignment focused on diagnosing, designing,
delivering and auditing the programme to ensure that
all established policies, procedures, guidelines, methodologies,
tools and controls were employed in delivering the needed
attitudinal behavioural changes, productivity improvements
and projected savings to the client.
From 2006 - June 2007, he was the Principle Consultant
for SC Management Consultancy providing consulting services
to Malaysian clients and also to Siam City Cement Group
(Thailand), PT. Panggung Electronics, Surabaya and PT
Omron Electronics, Jakarta Indonesia - focusing on project
management, organization development and career planning
programmes.
In addition, he also shared his practical experiences
with the Open University Malaysia as a Programme Consultant
for talent management and leadership programmes.
In Sept. 2007, he joined UCSI University as an Associate
Dean for the Faculty of Management and Information Technology.
Currently, the Managing Director of UCSI Extension,
he provides lifelong ‘learning and growth’ opportunities
to corporate clients and working adults.
